Paul Skinner NYO Tutor

Paul is a cellist and harpist, and a senior tutor for Nottingham Youth Orchestra. He teaches at Nottingham Girls' High School, and is an instrumental and ensemble tutor for Trent College. Paul has also adjudicated for Nottingham Young Musician of the Year.

As a cellist Paul has played principal in shows at: The Bloomsbury Theatre Sloane Square; Nottingham Symphony Orchestra; St John's Smith Square; as well as in string quartets at The Royal Albert Hall, and the Gilbert & Sullivan Festival at Buxton Opera House. Paul has played solos with Keele Philharmonic, and is the cellist in the Children's ITV programme ‘The Worst Witch’.

Paul is Principal Harpist and part of the management team of Jersey Symphony Orchestra. He has played harp with The British Police Symphony Orchestra, The Limelight Orchestra, accompanied Lesley Garrett, and with dancers from ‘Strictly’ under the baton of Gavin Sutherland from English National Ballet.
