Senior Orchestra

    Senior Orchestra players arrive at the Albert Hall

    Senior Orchestra rehearsal

    Senior Orchestra players leave the building

    Senior Orchestra percussion section returns in concert dress and reports to the Green Room
  • 14:00 - 14:30
    Senior Orchestra percussion rehearsal with Training and Intermediate percussion
  • 14:30
    All other Senior Orchestra players report to the Green Room in concert dress
  • 14:40
    Senior Orchestra take their reserved seats in the arena area with instruments and music to watch the Intermediate Orchestra perform on stage. Arena seating: back of the hall, rows H, I, J. Large instruments to be placed (in cases) in front of the stage in sectioned-off areas
  • 15:00
    Concert begins - Intermediate Orchestra perform on stage
  • 15:40
    Changeover (Intermediate → Senior) - Intermediate Orchestra percussion remain on stage for the changeover performance. Training and Senior Orchestra percussion move to the stage for the changeover performance. All other Intermediate Orchestra players leave the stage with their instruments and music (during the percussion performance) and move to the reserved arena seating (replacing senior orchestra who will move to the stage). Large instruments to be placed (in cases) in the sectioned-off areas in front of the stage. One-way system in place

    Changeover - Senior Orchestra take their seats on stage ready to play (percussion are performing during the changeover). Collect large instruments in front of the stage. One way system in place. Once the percussion performance has finished, Training and Intermediate percussion move to the reserved seating area

    Interval - Jazz in the bar (NYJO)

    Interval - Senior Orchestra return to the green room with instruments and music. Large instruments can be left in the sectioned-off areas in front of the stage

    Senior Orchestra take their reserved seats in the arena area with instruments and music. Arena seating: back of the hall, (Rows H, I, J) ready to watch the Training Orchestra perform on stage. Large instruments to be placed (in cases) in sectioned-off areas in front of the stage

    Concert resumes, Training Orchestra perform
  • 17:15

    Break in the Green Room (City Suite). Bring a packed lunch (no nuts) and drink
  • 14:00 - 14:30
    Intermediate Orchestra percussion rehearsal with Training and Senior percussion. Intermediate percussion stay in the hall after the rehearsal.

    Intermediate Orchestra take their seats on stage
  • 15:00
    Concert begins - Intermediate Orchestra perform on stage
  • 15:40
    Changeover (Intermediate → Senior) - Intermediate Orchestra percussion remain on stage for the changeover performance.     Rhythm section to arrive by 13:30. NYJO family and friends are welcome to wait in the bar area ready to watch NYJO perform
