Jersey 27 July - 1st August 2014

From Sunday 27th July until Thursday 31st July we shall be at:

Jersey Accommodation and Activity Centre
La Rue de la Pouclee et des Quatre Chemins
St Martin

Tel: 01534 498636

The Jersey Accommodation Centre is on the cliff above the village of Gorey on the east coast of Jersey. There is a footpath direct from the hostel down to the village and Grouville beach. Mont Orgueil castle is at the Gorey end of the beach - we have a treasure hunt organised there for Wednesday morning. There is a large dining room, part of which is reserved for NYO, and two lounges, one with a DVD player and large screen. The hostel has extensive grounds with lots of room for rounders, football etc. They can also supply basic sports equipment and beach games.

Accommodation will be in rooms of between four and eight people. In eight-bed rooms, two keys will be given out so you will need to decide between you who the key holders will be. Please be aware that there will be other guests staying at the hostel, so late night noise will not be appreciated.

Our accommodation is half board . Usually this will mean breakfast and dinner. Look at the detailed itinerary for more information on when you have to provide your own meals. Breakfast is a buffet - no hot dishes but will include boiled eggs, cheese and cold meats. Dinner is two courses. There is a coffee machine and a vending machine for cold drinks and snacks. For the very hungry amongst you, there are shops and cafes just 10-15 minutes away in Gorey.

The hostel has free wi-fi (password available on request from reception). The best wi-fi reception is in the restaurant area; you may find it slow or unavailable in bedrooms.
