Trevor Booth

Trevor is a former senior NYO String Tutor with over 20 years working with the organisation.

Trevor gained an honours degree in Music from Manchester University after which he spent 2 years living in Reykjavik where he played with The Icelandic Symphony Orchestra and Icelandic Opera as well as enjoying the outdoor life and teaching. After a period of private violin study and teaching violin in the North East, Trevor spent two and a half years with the BBC National Orchestra of Wales before departing for pastures new and joining the Inland Revenue - now HM Revenue and Customs.

Trevor is continuing his support of NYO by becoming a trustee on NYO's Board in 2022.
