Returning from their Festival tour of Provence, the senior Nottingham Youth Orchestra showcased their end-of-season best in a programme of Saint-Saens, Verdi, Bizet, and Bruch featuring violin soloist Annabel Stevens, herself an NYO alumna.
The concert took place in the beautiful church of St Mary's in Nottingham's historic Lace Market. NYO transported their audience to the lavender fields and sunshine of Provence with their programme direct from the Provencal Festival of Youth Orchestras where they played alongside eight orchestras from Europe, Canada and the USA. The Provence Festival at the end of July 2025 featured NYO performing at Collegiale Notre Dame des Anges l'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, Abbaye de Frigolet, Place de la Mairie and La Garde Freinet.
