40th Anniversary Celebration Concert
Nottingham Youth Orchestras celebrate four decades of outstanding young musical talent in a spectacular anniversary concert featuring classical favourites, breathtaking orchestral performances, and pre-concert jazz from the Nottingham Youth Jazz Orchestra (NYJO).
Joining the Nottingham Youth Orchestra for this special occasion is internationally acclaimed violinist Braimah Kanneh-Mason (Chineke!, Clean Bandit, BBC Proms), performing Samuel Coleridge-Taylor’s magnificent Violin Concerto under the baton of James Lowe, Director of the Spokane Symphony.
This immersive concert experience has been designed so that every seat in the hall feels close to the music. Live cameras and a giant screen projection mean you’ll enjoy stunning views of the orchestra and soloists wherever you are seated, from the intensity of the strings to the power of the brass. Experience the thrill of watching the conductor from a musician’s perspective and feel truly part of the orchestra as the performance unfolds around you.
All four Nottingham Youth Orchestras (including NYJO) will perform live on stage during this landmark celebration.
