Summer Concert 2025

Featuring Nottingham Youth Jazz Orchestra (NYJO) centre stage, Nottingham Youth Orchestra’s Summer Concert promises an exhilarating afternoon of dance-inspired classical and jazz music, marking the second event in a special series of concerts celebrating NYO’s 40th Anniversary. This vibrant performance will showcase the orchestra’s exceptional young musicians as they bring to life rhythmic, dynamic, and expressive works that highlight the fusion of movement and melody. Audiences can expect a thrilling repertoire that blends classical masterpieces with lively jazz influences, creating an electrifying atmosphere that captures the joy and energy of dance. This milestone concert continues NYO’s tradition of inspiring performances brought to life by the rhythm of dance!

Before the concert starts, NYJO will set the mood in the bar area with their signature sound — a great match for a pre-show drink. During the interval, the talented Bridgford Quartet, made up of four senior orchestra members, will entertain guests with live music.

Tickets
We will have a standard ticket price of £12.50 which will give the ticket holder entry to the bar and concert as well as access to the online concert programme. Children of primary school age and under can gain entry for just £2. Must be accompanied by a fee paying adult.
