We are now organising our fourth trip to leafy, airy Walesby Forest where NYTO members plus tutors enjoy varied outdoor activities and fill the forest with orchestral sounds from their base in the large marquee! The date for NYTO parents' diaries is SUNDAY 7th JUNE 2026 09:30-16:30.

This trip costs £49.50 per student (bursaries apply) and includes all activities, light refreshments, marquee hire, and tutor fees. Deadline to sign up: end of March 2026.

Here's the review and some photos from our wonderful June 2025 trip...

Both the weather and students shone on the morning's activities: showing prowess on the outdoor Climbing Wall, excelling at team work in the Cave Maze, enjoying the Tomahawk throwing, plus finding the nerve to take on Jacob's Ladder and the Wobble Pole.

After a jacket potato lunch provided by Walesby Forest, and a trip to the gift shop, the youngsters enjoyed an afternoon of orchestral music making and even a quiz in the large marquee. The day ended with a rehearsal performance to families.

When everybody had gone home and tutors were helping to take the bunting down and pack away, they commented on how impeccably well behaved the youngsters were and what great company! Thank you parents for getting them all there on time.
