We are very excited that we have managed to book Intermediate Orchestra (NYIO) an exclusive trip on Sunday afternoon 25th January 2026 to make music together, and visit, the brand new state-of-the-art Sherwood Observatory! https://sherwood-observatory.org.uk

As well as making orchestral music on site, our youngsters will also experience a Planetarium Show, have time to socialise and enjoy some music games together including a venture down to the basement exhibition with their instruments to experience the ‘cathedral acoustics’ of the old Victorian reservoir building on which the Observatory stands.

Parents are asked to look out for the invitation email sent in mid September which has the online form to let us know whether their young musician can join this 🚀maiden voyage.
